Revenue Tracking — connect and monitor all your revenue streams

Connect Shopify, enter revenue manually, or use the API to track MRR, ARR, churn, and LTV — all in one place with AI-generated analysis.

CooVex Revenue Tracking centralizes all your revenue data so you have a real-time view of how your business is performing financially — without toggling between Stripe, Shopify, spreadsheets, and bank statements.

Connecting your revenue sources

Shopify

Go to Settings → Integrations → Shopify and connect your store. CooVex pulls order data, subscription data (if using Recharge), and customer lifetime value automatically. Syncs every 6 hours.

Manual entry

If you bill clients manually or use invoicing software, go to Finance → Revenue → Add Entry to log revenue manually. You can enter one-time payments, recurring revenue, and refunds.

API

For custom billing systems, use the CooVex Revenue API to push transaction data programmatically. This is the most flexible option for SaaS companies with custom subscription logic.

Key revenue metrics

MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)

Total predictable revenue from active subscriptions in a calendar month. CooVex calculates MRR from recurring orders and subscription data. For non-subscription businesses, MRR is estimated from average monthly transaction patterns.

ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)

MRR multiplied by 12. This is the metric investors most commonly use to value SaaS businesses. CooVex shows ARR alongside MRR for easy reference.

Churn rate

Percentage of customers lost in a given month: (customers at start − customers at end) / customers at start × 100. CooVex calculates monthly churn and shows a trend. Above 5% monthly is flagged as a high-priority Revenue Signal.

Customer LTV (Lifetime Value)

Average total revenue earned from a customer before they churn. Calculated as: (Average Order Value × Purchase Frequency) / Monthly Churn Rate. CooVex updates this as new data comes in.

Net Revenue Retention (NRR)

Revenue retained from existing customers, including expansions and upgrades, minus cancellations. NRR above 100% means your existing customers are growing in value even without new customer acquisition. Available on Scale and Agency plans.

Revenue signals

The agent monitors your revenue data continuously and generates Smart Alerts when:

  • MRR drops more than 5% period-over-period
  • A customer who represents more than 10% of revenue shows churn signals
  • NRR drops below 100% for the first time
  • Churn rate increases for three consecutive months

Revenue forecasting

Based on your current MRR, growth rate, and churn rate, CooVex projects your revenue 3, 6, and 12 months forward. This projection is visible on the Revenue page and in your Forecasting section.
