Forecasting — AI revenue and growth projections

CooVex projects your revenue, lead volume, and business growth 3, 6, and 12 months forward — based on your real historical data and AI-modeled trends.

Forecasting helps you plan ahead with confidence. Instead of guessing next quarter’s revenue or hoping your pipeline is healthy enough, CooVex uses your actual data — historical revenue, pipeline velocity, lead trends, and churn patterns — to project where your business is heading.


What is forecasted

Revenue forecast

Projects MRR 3, 6, and 12 months forward using:

  • Current MRR and historical growth rate
  • Current churn rate and trend
  • Pipeline value and expected conversion rate
  • Seasonal patterns in your historical data

The forecast is shown as a central projection with a confidence range (upper and lower bounds). A wider range means higher uncertainty — usually caused by high churn volatility or a very short data history.

Lead volume forecast

Projects the number of new leads expected per month, based on your current lead generation pace, seasonal trends, and any planned campaigns. Helps you spot a future pipeline gap before it becomes a revenue problem.

Pipeline close forecast

For each active deal in your pipeline, the AI estimates a close probability based on the lead’s score, stage, time in stage, and historical patterns for similar leads. The sum of these probabilities gives you an expected revenue closed for the period.


Reading the forecast

Go to Finance → Forecasting. The main chart shows your actual revenue (solid line) extending into projected revenue (dashed line). Three scenarios are shown:

  • Optimistic — if current growth rate accelerates slightly
  • Base case — if current trends continue unchanged
  • Pessimistic — if churn increases or growth slows

Below the chart, the AI writes a plain-English commentary: what the most likely scenario is, what the biggest risks are, and what actions would shift the forecast positively.


Improving forecast accuracy

Forecasts improve with more data. To get accurate projections:

  • Connect your revenue source — manual entry works, but automatic sync from Shopify or the API gives more data points
  • Keep your pipeline current — update lead stages and mark deals Won/Lost promptly so the pipeline close forecast is accurate
  • Use deal values — adding expected deal values to leads significantly improves the pipeline forecast
