Connect your tools to CooVex

A step-by-step guide to connecting HubSpot, Shopify, Slack, WordPress, and more so your AI agent works from real business data.

CooVex becomes significantly more powerful when connected to the tools your business already uses. Without integrations, the AI works from the information you entered during setup. With integrations, it works from your actual live data: real leads, real revenue, real customer activity.

Why connect tools?

Here is what changes when you connect each category of tool:

  • CRM connected — lead scoring improves dramatically. The AI learns your real ideal customer profile from historical deal data, not guesswork.
  • E-commerce connected — revenue tracking becomes accurate. MRR, churn, AOV, and LTV are calculated from real transactions.
  • Website embed installed — CooVex sees when leads visit specific pages and adjusts their score in real time. A lead who visits your pricing page three times in one week is flagged immediately.
  • Slack connected — agent alerts arrive in your team's existing workflow instead of requiring everyone to log into CooVex separately.

CRM integrations

HubSpot

CooVex reads contacts, companies, deals, pipeline stages, and email activity from HubSpot.

How to connect:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot
  2. Click Connect HubSpot
  3. Log in to HubSpot and click Allow access
  4. You are redirected back to CooVex. The first sync starts immediately and takes 2–5 minutes.

CooVex never modifies your HubSpot data unless you explicitly approve a suggested agent action from the inbox.

Salesforce

Works the same as HubSpot. CooVex reads Leads, Contacts, Opportunities, and Accounts. Connect via Settings → Integrations → Salesforce. If you use a sandbox environment for testing, toggle Use Sandbox before connecting.

E-commerce: Shopify

Connecting Shopify gives CooVex access to your store's financial data. The AI uses this to calculate MRR, average order value, customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate, and churn signals.

How to connect:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Shopify
  2. Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com)
  3. Click Connect and approve the connection in Shopify
  4. CooVex imports the last 12 months of order history automatically

The integration is read-only. CooVex never places orders, issues refunds, or modifies your store.

Website embed

What the embed does

The CooVex website embed is a small JavaScript snippet you add to your site once. It does three things:

  1. Tracks page visits by known leads — when a contact in your CooVex list visits a page, their score updates in real time
  2. Powers the AI chatbot — the chatbot appears on your site and answers visitor questions using your business data as context
  3. Captures contact form data — visitors who fill in forms can be added directly to your lead list

Installing on any website

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Website Embed
  2. Copy your unique embed snippet:
<script
  src="https://app.coovex.com/embed.js"
  data-key="YOUR_EMBED_TOKEN"
  async
></script>
  1. Paste it into the <head> tag of every page (or use Google Tag Manager)
  2. Click Verify Installation in CooVex to confirm it is live

Installing on WordPress

  1. Search for CooVex in the WordPress plugin directory and install it
  2. Go to Settings → CooVex in your WordPress admin
  3. Paste your embed token and save — no code editing needed

Slack

Once connected, you choose exactly which events appear in which Slack channels:

  • Hot lead alerts — when a lead score crosses 80, a message is sent to your chosen channel
  • Competitor alerts — when a competitor changes pricing or launches something new
  • Daily brief — your morning business summary posted on schedule
  • Agent signals — high-priority signals mirrored from your inbox

How to connect:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack
  2. Click Add to Slack and approve permissions
  3. Map each event type to the Slack channel where it should appear

Google Search Console

Connecting Search Console gives CooVex visibility into which keywords you rank for, which pages get impressions without clicks, and which pages have recently dropped in ranking (automatically flagged as signals).

Connect via Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console and sign in with the Google account that owns the property.

Integration status and troubleshooting

All integrations show a status in Settings → Integrations:

  • Green (Active) — syncing normally
  • Yellow (Warning) — connected but needs attention (e.g., token expiring soon)
  • Red (Error) — connection broken, re-authentication required

Most errors happen when you change your password or revoke OAuth permissions in the connected tool. Click the integration and follow the re-connect steps to restore it.

Frequently asked questions

Does CooVex ever write data to my CRM without my approval?

No. CooVex only writes data back to a connected tool when you explicitly approve an action from the Agent Inbox. Every proposed write action is shown to you first with a clear description of what will change.

How often does CooVex sync data from connected tools?

CRM and e-commerce data syncs every 6 hours. Website visit data from the embed is real-time. Search Console data updates daily.

Can I connect a tool that is not listed?

Yes. Use the Custom CRM Integration API or Webhooks to connect any tool with an API. You can also request new integrations at coovex.com/contact.
