Daily Tasks — your AI-generated to-do list

How CooVex builds your daily task list, what makes a good task, and how to use it to stay focused on high-impact work every day.

Every morning, the CooVex AI agent generates a prioritized task list for your business day. These are not generic reminders — they are specific, data-driven actions ranked by estimated business impact, based on what actually changed in your business data overnight.

How tasks are generated

Each night (between midnight and 6 AM your workspace timezone), the agent:

  1. Reviews all pending signals and lead activity from the past 24 hours
  2. Checks your pipeline for leads that need follow-up, are stuck, or just re-engaged
  3. Looks at any competitor changes detected
  4. Reviews your goals and ongoing campaigns
  5. Generates 3–5 specific tasks ranked by estimated impact on revenue, leads, or business health

The result is waiting for you when you open the dashboard each morning.

What a good task looks like

CooVex tasks are always specific and actionable. You will never see a task like “follow up with leads”. Instead:

  • “Call David Chen at Nexus Labs — his score jumped from 58 to 86 and he visited your pricing page twice yesterday”
  • “Competitor X removed their enterprise plan. Update your comparison page to highlight your enterprise offering”
  • “Your homepage LCP score dropped from 2.1s to 3.8s after last night's deploy — investigate before it affects rankings”
  • “Approve the AI-drafted blog post on [topic] — it covers a gap your GEO scan identified last week”

Every task links directly to the relevant lead, page, or tool so you can act in one click.

Working through your tasks

Start with tasks before email

The highest-leverage habit you can build with CooVex: open your dashboard and read the task list before checking email or Slack each morning. Email and Slack surface what other people want from you. The CooVex task list surfaces what your business actually needs.

Check tasks off as you complete them

Click the checkbox next to each task when you finish it. This does two things: it keeps your list clean during the day, and it feeds completion data back to the agent so it can calibrate future task lists.

If you consistently complete tasks of a certain type quickly, the agent will generate more of them. If you consistently skip a type of task, it will deprioritize that category.

Dismiss tasks that do not apply

Not every generated task will be relevant. When you dismiss a task, you are shown a short list of reasons:

  • Not relevant to my business
  • Already handled this manually
  • This lead is not a real prospect
  • Not a priority right now

Picking a reason helps the agent improve. After a few weeks of use, the task list becomes noticeably more accurate.

Carry-over tasks

Tasks you did not complete yesterday carry over and are marked with a warning indicator. These are given higher priority in the next day's list. If a task carries over three days in a row without being completed or dismissed, the agent flags it as a High signal.

Adding tasks manually

You can add your own tasks alongside the AI-generated ones. Click + Add Task at the bottom of the list. Manual tasks appear in the same list and can be assigned a priority level.

If you regularly create the same type of manual task, tell the AI coach: “Add a task every Monday morning to review last week's lead activity”. The agent can add recurring tasks to your automatic list.

Frequently asked questions

How many tasks does the agent generate per day?

Typically 3 to 5. The agent deliberately keeps the list short — a long list is overwhelming and most items do not get done. Quality over quantity. If your business has a lot of active signals, the agent picks the 5 with the highest estimated impact.

Can I get tasks delivered to Slack or email?

Yes. Go to Settings → Notifications and enable the daily task digest. You can receive it via email, Slack, or both at a time you choose.

Can my team see my tasks?

Tasks are per-user by default. If you want to share tasks across a team, use the Shared Tasks feature available on the Business plan. Shared tasks appear in every team member's dashboard and can be assigned to specific people.

What if the generated tasks are not relevant to my business?

This usually means the business profile needs more context. Go to Settings → Business Profile and add more detail about what you sell, who your customers are, and what your current priorities are. The agent uses this context to decide what is worth a task vs. what is noise.
